A new report by the US Government Accountability Office highlights Border Patrol’s failure to properly record and track the number of deaths along the US/Mexico border. These deaths are a direct result of inhumane and deadly border policies that have pushed migrants to take dangerous paths to the US.
Since 1998, there have been at least 8,600 deaths along the border. There were 557 migrant deaths reported in 2021 alone.
Each set of 5 pencils + linocut print will benefit Border Kindness and their Water Drop efforts along the US/Mexico Border.
50% of the proceeds will go to Border Kindness. It will help them purchase water, food, and other supplies that are needed.
